Gymnastics meet #3

Yesterday was the third and final gymnastics meet of the season for Cheyenne and Sierra. I can't believe how far they have come this year. If you want to compare, go back and watch the videos in this post and this post. Cheyenne came away with blue ribbons for three events-vault, bar, and floor. She received a red for the beam. If she can get her forward roll on the beam without the coach's help, she'll have blue for sure! If she had received blue in all four events, she would be ready to move up to level 3. She's almost there! Sierra earned a yellow on the bars, reds on vault and beam, and blue on her floor routine. I am so proud of them!

Here's Sierra warming up. What a look of concentration!

And Cheyenne stretching. We don't want any injuries at the meet.

Cheyenne saluting the audience before the start of the meet. Don't let her shy act fool you. She LOVES all the attention!

Mrs. Julie told the girls to get into the music when they were marching in this time. Most of the girls were too shy, but Sierra had an extra little spring in her step. :)
One she noticed how many people were watching, she got a little embarrassed. But she still loved it.
Sorry about the quality of these videos. I'm not sure if it's the camera, operator, or our computer that is at fault. Feel free to skip over them if you want. They're mostly here for Grandma Debbie anyway. :)

Cheyenne on the beam. She did a great job!

Sierra on the bar. I thought she deserved better than a yellow, but I maybe a little biased. I think it was the crash landing that did her in.

We have videos of the rest of their events too, but I can't seem to get them to load. I'm going to try putting them in a post of their own and see if that works.
