I have an optometry appointment this afternoon. I have a really bad feeling that I am going to be getting some brand new glasses very soon. I'm not excited about it.

Tonight is the older girls' final practice before the Tae Kwon Do tournament on Saturday. This will be our first tournament, so I'm excited to see how they'll do. I'm glad that neither of them are sparring this time around. It's one thing to watch the practice sparring in class, but I have a feeling it will be a little more intense at the tournament. I don't think I'm ready to watch that.

We're down to less than 7 weeks before we leave for Disney World. It still seems like a long way off until I start thinking of all the things we need to do (and buy) before we go. We haven't gone on a real vacation since Landon was born. It's going to be a fun but exhausting trip. The kids are excited though. I hope it lives up to their expectations (I'm sure it will)

The girls and I got haircuts this weekend. I went for just a trim, but not the girls. When they get their hair cut, they go for dramatic change, especially Sierra. I wish I had before and after pictures so you could really see the difference. If you look on my sidebar though, you can kind of get a feel for just how much they each cut off. I really wasn't loving Sierra's at first, but it's grown on me and I think it's adorable now.

I can't wait until tomorrow! Tuesday is my "Saturday." It's the only day that we don't have to go anywhere. I'm looking forward to spending time at home. Maybe we'll get to some of that spring cleaning that needs to be done.

I was just about to post this when the cutest thing happened at my house. The kids were watching Anastasia before breakfast. When it was over, Sierra went into her room and came out in a yellow "princess" dress from her dress-up clothes and a tiara. About that time, Landon, who had been going through the DVDs looking for another movie to watch, found a kids' Christmas CD. He was pretty excited about it and turned it on. It was a slower song and he walked over to Sierra and bowed and said "May I have this dance?" She said, "Of course" and they started dancing together. So cute!
Please ignore my mess in the background. It's been a long weekend. :)

Oh that is precious! What a beautiful expression of how a princess should be treated.
I love how gutsy your girls are with their hair cuts! I could use a few tips from them. I've been wearing the exact same hair style for 20 years! Gah!
And they are super cute!
love those pictures....and the girls sassy new haircuts
I totally melted at the end of that post - those two pictures! How sweet of them!
The girls are adorable with their haircuts!
And YAY for you - going on vacation in 7 weeks!!!
